GL brides: part two
Real brides part two! I decided to definitely split these blog posts up for an easier read. This is the second part, brides who I had the pleasure of working with on the run up to the big day.
I have again, a small selection, of brides who have sent me their professional photos. Enjoy (again!)...
MARIE. It was so lovely to be a part of the wedding prep for Marie. Such a lovely bride, and it only took two fittings to achieve a bespoke look plus big alterations! The hem on this particular dress took a few days, as all the lace and beads came off before being put on (by hand). We altered the bodice on all seams and I took away the nude tulle detail on the front, to leave larger straps. You can see in this photo if you look closely, the delicate bead-work on the front that is completely different to the original dress. Marie was over the moon with the final outcome, and I can see why! She looks stunning...
EMMA - One of my 2019 winter brides getting married close to Christmas. Emma had her hem shortened (lace hem!) and a few tweaks on the lace jacket, which was separate from her dress so she could have two looks without changing outfit- my favourite style.Emma you look so happy and stunning on your day. Congrats.
KATIE - Another of my 2019 winter brides. Katie wore a Rembo styling dress from Alexandra Anne which needed a few tweaks to achieve that perfect fit. The hem was also shortened. Beaut photos!
ROSE - Together both myself and Rose came up with a slightly off-the-shoulder look, and doesn't it work so well?! Rose was chuffed when coming back for her second fitting and because there was no bead or lace work, was able to take the dress away then and there. A lovely spring 2019 bride.
SUE - A spring 2019 bride who got married in Derbyshire. It was a pleasure to work with Sue. We made adjustments to the lace jacket - we tailored this to Sue and it looked amazing. I also added some attachments so the jacket and dress could be attached as one but also removed for the evening.
EMILY - Emily came to me in early 2019 to make sure all was organised ready for her autumnal wedding in Derbyshire. The lace hem was shortened, and bust area taken in. We also added a bustle for the pretty spectacular train! What a perfect dress for you!
REBECCA - I loved getting tagged in these photos during peak wedding season! How amazing does Rebecca look and her bridal party. The dress was adjusted slightly to achieve the perfect fit, including the straps. All bridesmaids were altered with a sparkly belt added to the dusky pink satin dress.
All my brides look absolutely amazing! I am sure you all agree.
To any photographers, please email me with bride full name so I can credit you correctly.
Until next time!
